Création DVD – L’essentiel du Vovinam Viet Vo Dao

Pour ce projet complet, Dragon Studio a eu le plaisir de collaborer à la réalisation du DVD pédagogique « L’essentiel du Vovinam Viet Vo Dao » aux côtés de Maître Gilles Crozon-Cazin. Un projet à la fois graphique et audiovisuel, dédié aux passionnés d’arts martiaux vietnamiens et aux pratiquants en quête d’une ressource claire, riche et structurée.

Notre intervention s’est portée sur deux aspects principaux :

1. Création de la jaquette et des visuels des disques

Nous avons conçu une charte visuelle forte, avec une mise en avant du Maître, dans une posture emblématique, rehaussée par un fond stylisé intégrant des symboles asiatiques (dragon, aura lumineuse…). L’ensemble de la composition évoque à la fois la rigueur martiale et l’identité profonde du Vovinam.

Un travail minutieux d’intégration visuelle :

Détourage, traitement colorimétrique de la photo principale

Création graphique du fond à motifs traditionnels asiatiques

Conception des visuels des 2 disques (coordination esthétique avec la jaquette)

Choix typographique dynamique, lisible et martial

2. Montage vidéo du DVD

Le contenu de la vidéo s’adresse aussi bien aux débutants qu’aux initiés, en mettant en avant :

Les fondamentaux du Vovinam Viet Vo Dao
Les techniques de contre, de clé et de lutte
Les ciseaux, les méthodes d’entraînement au combat sportif
Et des enchaînements stratégiques

Nous avons assuré le montage vidéo dans un esprit clair, structuré et fluide :

Édition des plans selon la pédagogie du maître
Intégration des titres, ralentis explicatifs, chapitrage
Nettoyage sonore et synchronisation

DVD Creation – The Essentials of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao

For this comprehensive project, Dragon Studio had the pleasure of collaborating on the production of the educational DVD “The Essentials of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao” alongside Master Gilles Crozon-Cazin. This project combined graphic design and audiovisual production, and was dedicated to Vietnamese martial arts enthusiasts as well as practitioners seeking a clear, rich, and well-structured learning resource.

Our contribution focused on two main aspects:

1. Creation of the DVD Cover and Disc Visuals

We designed a strong visual identity, highlighting the Master in an iconic posture, enhanced by a stylized background incorporating Asian symbols (dragon, luminous aura, etc.). The overall composition conveys both martial discipline and the deep-rooted identity of Vovinam.

Meticulous visual integration work:

Photo cut-out and color correction of the main image
Graphic creation of a background featuring traditional Asian patterns
Design of the visuals for the two discs (aesthetic consistency with the cover)
Dynamic, legible, and martial typographic choices

2. DVD Video Editing

The video content is aimed at both beginners and experienced practitioners, highlighting:

The fundamentals of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao
Counter-techniques, joint locks, and grappling techniques
Scissor techniques and methods for sports combat training
Strategic combinations and sequences

We handled the video editing with a clear, structured, and fluid pedagogical approach:

Shot editing aligned with the Master’s teaching methodology
Integration of titles, explanatory slow-motion sequences, and chaptering
Audio cleanup and synchronization
